    SAVE THE DATE: WashingtonExec Q&A with Harvard Freshman & Social Entrepreneur Pooja Chandrashekar

    WashingtonExec is hosting a free event on Thursday, May 19th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at The Nysmith School in Herndon, VA. The purpose of this event is to meet and hear from Pooja Chandrashekar, Harvard University freshman and ProjectGIRLS Founder. There will be light refreshments served at this event.

    Chandrashekar, an alumna of the Nysmith School, started her non-profit organization, ProjectGIRLS after seeing the gender gap widening in the computing and technology world. She wanted to make a difference. Chandrashekar was also a featured speaker at the 2015 and 2016 K-12 STEM Symposiums hosted by WashingtonExec at The Nysmith School.

    The schedule for this event will be; 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm – Networking, 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm – Program and Keynote Speech, and 8:00 pm to 8:30 pm – Post Event Networking. In her keynote speech at this WashingtonExec event Chandrashekar will be sharing her unique perspective and insights on how she was able to stand out among her peers and excel in high school.
