Amyx announced April 4 that it has been named a finalist for the 8th Annual Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF) Awards, which honors small and emerging government contractors and the players in the industry that rely on small business.

Amyx is a finalist for Government Project of the Year.

“Amyx is extremely excited to be considered a finalist for the Project of the Year. We are so pleased that our outstanding team of professionals are being recognized for their tireless effort,” Amyx President and CEO, Satya Akula said. “Personally speaking, our U.S. Transportation Command team really stepped up to support vital assignments such as ‘Operation Unified Assistance,’ the U.S. response to combat Ebola in West Africa, where we coordinated the delivery of people, medical supplies and even hospital beds. It was a true team endeavor.”

“The SECAF Awards Gala is the preeminent annual event that spotlights companies that are doing outstanding and innovating work in the government contracting community,” SECAF Chairman and Principal at The McLean Group Cameron Hamilton said. “Amyx represents a prime example of the leadership, strategy, and success that is central to the vitality of the small and emerging government contractor ecosystem. We wish the best of luck to all SECAF finalists.”

Winners will be announced at the SECAF Awards Gala on May 12 at the Hilton McLean.
