The Big Idea CONNECTpreneur Forum will be held April 28 at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
CONNECTpreneur is a quarterly networking mashup of over 350 top founders, angels, CXOs, VCs and business leaders. At this breakfast event there will be networking opportunities, newsmaking speakers, and a showcase of 6-7 exciting companies.
Tien Wong, CEO of Tech 2000 and appnetic, will open the day’s event.
Mark Walsh, Co-founder and CEO of Genius Rocket, Associate Administrator at the U.S. Small Business Administration in the Office of Investment and Innovation and also Executive Chairman of HomeSnap will be the featured speaker at the “Fireside Chat” portion of the event.
There will be a company showcase that will feature eight promising early-stage companies. Presenters will be announced on April 18.
The theme of the All-Star Capital Panel will be “What’s Really Going on in Venture Capital”. The introductions will be given by Elana Fine, Managing Director of the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland. The Moderator will be Jonathan Aberman, Managing Director for Amplifier Venture Partners, Founder and Managing Director for TandemNSI and also Founder and President of Foundercorps. The featured speaker will be Mark Levine who is the Managing Director at Core Capital Partners.
The event will conclude with networking opportunities.
