    K-12 STEM Symposium Segment Airs on Channel 7’s “Government Matters”

    On Sunday, March 6, Channel 7’s “Government Matters” segment featured Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology’s Kritika Singh, student and CEO of Malaria Free World. Singh discussed entrepreneurship, her interest in science and mathematics, as well as the upcoming K-12 STEM Symposium on March 12.

    A variety of labs and high-tech tools, Thomas Jefferson High School Principal Dr. Evan Glazer and Ed Swallow, Vice President of Vaeros, a division of The Aerospace Company, were also featured on the segment.

    This year’s K-12 STEM Symposium includes interactive exhibits such as UAVs, flight simulators, smallsats/drones, physics experiments, heart monitors, 3D printers, robotics, a connected car and much more. Sign up for the free event for parents, kids and teachers at www.stemsymposium.com.
