It was announced by Centreville, Va.-based technology company, Fulcrum that it has been named one of 33 finalists of the 10th Annual Helios Apollo Awards. The Apollo Awards honors human capital excellence in talent development in four categories; Employee Assimilation & Onboarding, Employment Brand, Employee Mentorship/Coaching and Employee Recognition.

Jeff Handy, CEO of Fulcrum stated, “It is always an honor to be selected as a Helios finalist. These awards are a testament to the great team of Employees, Support Staff, and Leaders that are supporting some of the most cutting edge DoD and Federal programs for our Country today. We are honored, and are looking forward to – once again – participate in this truly prestigious annual event.”

The Apollo Awards breakfast ceremony will be taking place at the Hyatt Regency Reston on June 1st. All companies, regardless of size or industry in the Greater Washington area are eligible. The finalists are selected by a panel of industry experts, Chief HR officers and former Apollo Award winners.

Kathy Albarado, CEO of Helios HR and Founder of The Apollo Awards said, “Fulcrum has been a finalist many times over the past several years (selected as a winner in 2014), setting the standard in building a “culture of intention” by focusing on the growth and development of their people. This award recognizes Fulcrum’s progression, creativity, and vision in addressing the talent challenges employers face today.”
