Chantilly, Va.-based AMERICAN SYSTEMS announced that it has concluded the initial build-out of the Testing Infrastructure for the Program Executive Office (PEO) Defense Healthcare Management Systems (DHMS). AMERICAN SYSTEMS will be providing day-to-day infrastructure operations support to IT systems, applications, networks, and virtual environments, including configuration, monitoring, service desk, asset management, and additional technology functions to the PEO DHMS and its associated program offices as a part of this contract.

Peter Smith, President and CEO of AMERICAN SYSTEMS stated, “AMERICAN SYSTEMS is delighted to be supporting PEO DHMS with their important mission of modernizing the Military Health System (MHS) Electronic Health Record (EHR) and establishing seamless medical data interoperability within the DoD, the VA, and the private sector. This work further expands AMERICAN SYSTEMS’ end-to-end healthcare IT offering, and, more importantly, is a step toward ultimately helping improve the health care of the active duty military, Veterans, and their beneficiaries.”
