It was announced on March 1st by Herndon, Va.-based DLT Solutions that it has partnered with Sqrrl Enterprise in an effort to bring Sqrrl Enterprise’s solutions to government agencies. Sqrrl Enterprise is a threat detection and response platform that allows organizations to seek out and disrupt advanced cyber threats through the use of User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA).

The threat hunting solutions offered by Sqrrl Enterprise allow government organizations to be proactive in the detection and investigation of sophisticated adversaries that have eluded traditional cyber defenses. Sqrrl utilizes the combination of behavioral analytics and machine learning while at the same time leveraging Big Data storage and analytic techniques to identify and examine these threats.

Alan Marc Smith, President and CEO of DLT stated, “Recent cyber incidents teach us that advanced cyber adversaries will be able to defeat static perimeter defenses, and government agencies need to supplement their traditional detection tools. Sqrrl’s threat hunting platform will provide critical security coverage for our public sector customers and help them protect their mission.”

“Sqrrl’s UEBA capabilities are the future of cybersecurity. Sqrrl’s heritage is in the U.S. Intelligence Community and gives us a unique perspective on how to best identify and defeat advanced cyber threats. We chose to partner with DLT because of their deep customer relationships and extensive government procurement expertise. Working together, we can accelerate the government’s ability to quickly leverage these advanced cyber capabilities,” stated Mark Terenzoni, CEO of Sqrrl.
