It was announced by strategy, technology and products company, Rigil that it has named former Federal Aviation Administration Senior Executive/Director, Robert M. Tobin as the Senior Vice President for Information Technology Services.
Rakhi Sharma, President and CEO of Rigil stated, “He brings a wealth of knowledge from a long and successful federal career. I know that Bob will help drive Rigil toward achieving its goals and in executing strategies immediately and for long-term growth.”
Tobin has over 34 years of experience at the FAA which included 30 years as an air traffic controller and manager in the Air Traffic Organization (ATO). In his days at the FAA Tobin was able to consolidate multiple help desks across the FAA into one shared service model that is the first of its kind in the agency. Tobin also formed the Business Partnership Services (BPS) organization in the FAA’s shared services Information Technology organization.
