    MacAulay-Brown, Inc. Names Sigrid Calandra, Andy Lagrone to Leadership Positions

    MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB) announced Feb. 4 the appointment of two executives to its leadership team.

    “On behalf of the MacB team, I would like to welcome and congratulate Sigrid and Andy on their leadership roles,” MacB President and CEO Sidney E. Fuchs said. “We continually strive to hire and promote talented individuals that possess and demonstrate outstanding commitment and leadership skills, and deliver exceptional results to our company and our National Security customers.”

    Sigrid Calandra has been named MacB Vice President of Strategic Capture in the Corporate Business Development and Capture organization. She will be responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities for selected accounts within the intelligence community and Dept. of Defense (DoD). Calandra previously served as the Vice President of Corporate Development at SYNTASA and had a 25-year career with the CIA. She is a recipient of the CIA Career Intelligence Medal, awarded for the performance of meritorious service or achievement conspicuously above normal duties, and the Directorate of Intelligence Medal in 2010.

    Calandra earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Arizona, as well as a master’s degree in international affairs from George Washington University.

    Current MacB Director of Intelligence and Information Operations Andy Lagrone has been promoted to Senior Director of MacB’s San Antonio-based Cyber Intelligence Division (CID). In this new role, he will be responsible for leading CID in pursuit of Cyber, Information Operations and Intelligence activities across the company.

    Lagrone received his commission from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a degree in computer science. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 24 years, retiring in 2007 after a career as a command pilot, logging more than 3,600 hours in both the T-38 Talon and F-16C Fighting Falcon. Lagrone also earned a master’s degree in aviation from Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University.
