It was announced by government services integrator, SOS International LLC (SOSi) that its joint venture with Final Mile Logistics – Global Threat Reduction LLC has been awarded a $975 million, nine-year, global logistics support contract by the Department of Defense. This contract will be in support of the U.S. Air Force’s Counter Narcotics and Global Threats (CN&GT) Operation and Logistics Support contract.

The formation of Global Threat Reduction LLC was completed specifically by SOSi and Final Mile Logistics for the CN&GT contract. It will be providing services, equipment, material, and minor construction services.

Julian Setian, President and CEO of SOSi stated, “This important win will ensure we continue to expand our international logistics, procurement and construction business. We managed a number of large partner capacity-building projects as a subcontractor on a previous iteration of the contract and look forward to now continuing our work as a prime contractor, with Final Mile as our partner, on the follow-on program.”

Robert Gentzke, COO at Final Mile Logistics said, “With our history of providing outstanding logistics services to the government and defense industry since our inception, our team is positioned to be the leading logistics provider for the U.S. Air Forces mission.”
