It was announced on January 11th by information technology and business process services provider, CGI that it has named former U.S. Defense Security Service Director, Stanley Sims to the role of Chief Security Officer. Sims will be responsible for leading CGI’s security enterprise policies, practices, and programs.

Sims brings over 30 years of public service experience in the areas of intelligence, security, and operations. In 2010 Sims was appointed the Director of the Defense Security Service where he retired from earlier this month. Additionally, Sims retired from the U.S. Army as a Colonel.
