It was announced on January 4th by Falls Church, Va.-based CSRA Inc. that it has named Leigh Palmer as Vice President of the Intelligence Group and Christian Marrone was hired to lead CSRA’s government relations functions.

Palmer brings years of experience in the Intelligence Community managing the strategic direction, growth and execution of programs supporting critical missions. She previously worked for BAE Systems where she held several positions, most recently as Vice President, National Information Technology Mission Solutions within BAE’s Intelligence and Security sector.

Larry Prior, President and CEO at CSRA said, “Having Leigh on the CSRA leadership team is invaluable. Her experience managing key programs across the Intelligence Community, and her ability to leverage the best people for mission success will make a real difference in how we support and grow this important customer base.”

Marrone will be leading CSRA’s government relations function and also spearheading efforts to provide thought leading solutions to respond to critical government policy issues. He brings almost 20 years of government administration experience. His most recent position was with the Department of Homeland Security where he served as the Chief of Staff.

Prior said, “I’m very pleased that Christian will be joining CSRA – he brings with him a depth of experience in national homeland security that will serve us well. Christian’s knowledge, expertise and experience at the highest levels of our government will further strengthen and grow our important mission support role in our defense and intelligence, and civil businesses.”
