It was announced on December 22nd by Fairfax, Va.-based CGI that it has been awarded a five-year, $9.9 million contract to provide technical expertise to the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command G-4 Logistics Office at Redstone Arsenal, Ala. Through this contract CGI will be working with AMCOM G-4 to ensure that AMCOM weapon systems and facilities are in compliance with all federal, state and local environmental laws and regulations.
CGI will assist AMCOM G-4 in various capacities which include: environmental compliance audits, programmatic environmental safety and occupational health evaluations, hazardous material management program reviews, environmental health and safety training/environmental monitoring, national environmental policy act analysis and EHS technical support, policy analysis & operational guidance.
