At the 12th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business, Jill Bruning was named as the 2015 Female Executive of the Year in the large business (more than 2,500 employees) category. There are more than 160 executives worldwide that participate in the judging process and more than 1,300 nominations submitted from 31 nationals and territories.

    Jill’s nomination stated:

“Women leaders are uncommon in defense contracting companies and even rarer in the male dominated engineering and construction industry. Jill Bruning is an outstanding AECOM executive that is having extraordinary success and making a difference in both!”

Bruning serves as Executive Vice President and General Manager at AECOM and leads the MS Intelligence Community and Services business. A few comments made by judges after the awards regarding Jill were, “Jill is a rockstar. Truly. A rockstar. She deserves to win” and “A great mentor and inspiration to all women looking to be in this industry.”
