    AST Names Deanna Doan Director of Defense and Intelligence Programs

    Business management consulting company Allegheny Science & Technology (AST) announced Dec. 3 that Deanna Doan has been named the Director of Defense and Intelligence Programs. She will succeed George Spencer, who will remain with AST as Executive Vice President and focus on the company’s strategic growth and emerging capability.

    Doan brings nearly 20 years of corporate growth, program management and organizational improvement experience to the position, as well as expertise in strategic planning, business transformation and change management. She most recently worked at Logistics Management Institute (LMI) where she led capture efforts for intelligence community programs. Doan has also worked at Northrop Grumman and TASC.

    Doan earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree in Operations Research from George Mason University. She is a certified Program Management Professional and Lean Six Sigma green belt.
