Reston, Va.-based Serco Inc. announced Dec. 3 that David Dacquino has been appointed as Senior Vice President of the Defense Services Business Unit.
“We are pleased to have Dave join the Serco team,” Serco Inc. Chairman and CEO Dan Allen said. “His depth of experience throughout the defense industry will be a great asset, as the defense market is a major focus area for Serco growth.”
“Serco has a great reputation in the government services market,” Dacquino said, “and I look forward to building a strong track record of growth and excellence service to their customers.”
Dacquino will oversee the company’s work in the areas of ship and shore/base modernization, hardware integration, acquisition and program management, logistics support and personnel readiness in this newly-created position.
Dacquino brings more than 30 years of experience to the position. He has previously served as SkyLink President and CEO, VT Group’s CEO, and Raytheon Technical Services Company’s integrated support solutions division Vice President and lead executive. He also had a 20-year career at Lockheed Martin, where he ultimately held the position of Vice President and General Manager of logistic services.
