Vienna, Va.-based NetImpact Strategies Inc. announced Dec. 4 that Steve Furman has been appointed as the company’s Director of Business Development. He will be charged with ensuring customer satisfaction and quality, integrating NetImpact service offerings and achieving clients’ return on investment business objectives.

“We are thrilled to have Steve join our executive team,” NetImpact Strategies President and CEO Kavita Kalatur said. “As an experienced and trusted advisor, he will support agencies desiring to achieve effective business results by aligning mission with performance, implementing process discipline, developing a capable workforce and leveraging technology to drive mission outcomes.”

“I look forward to leveraging my knowledge and insight to help government clients achieve business results—especially in today’s environment when effective business performance is critical to achieving missions with limited budgets,” Furman said. “I am committed to leveraging NetImpact Strategies proven methodologies and best practices to drive success for our clients.”

Furman will also introduce NetImpact capabilities to clients on transformational and crucial initiatives such as moving to the cloud, shared services, strategic planning and management, performance improvement and organizational and human capital management.

Furman worked at management consulting firm Robbins-Gioia for 32 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Program Management.
