The Northrop Grumman Corporation recognized 24 companies with Supplier Excellence awards for their valuable contributions to the company and its customers at the company’s annual Supplier Recognition Program held Nov. 12.
“Northrop Grumman is pleased to honor this year’s Supplier Excellence Award winners,” Global Supply Chain Vice President Cynthia Hyland said. “This is a highly competitive award, and we congratulate the 2015 winners.”
“Each of our awardees has made significant contributions to Northrop Grumman and has helped to ensure the ongoing success of our programs and the critical missions of our customers,” Corporate Vice President and President of Northrop Grumman Information Systems Kathy Warden said.
The Supplier Recognition Program recognizes suppliers that continuously provide outstanding support to Northrop Grumman and its Information Systems sector. Information Systems utilized more than 5,600 suppliers during 2015, of which 50 percent were small businesses, 14 percent women-owned, eight percent small disadvantaged businesses and six percent veteran-owned. All suppliers were evaluated based on five categories: schedule, management, technical, financial and quality.
More than 70 percent of the suppliers recognized were small and socio-economic business partners. The awardees include:
