It was announced on October 20th by Arlington, Va.-based Accenture Federal Services that it has been awarded a one year base and four one-year option contract under a Blanket Purchase Agreement. This work will be in support of the Census Bureau’s Digital Transformation Program.
Ed Meehan, Senior Managing Director at Accenture stated, “Census serves a diverse set of stakeholders, from journalists, educators and students to economists, academics and researchers, all with unique needs concerning access to valuable Census data. This work builds on our redesign of the website that improved navigation and created an engaging experience to better explore website content.”
One of the biggest challenges for the Census Bureau is displaying all of the information they collect and making it searchable and accessible on the internet. Through this contract Accenture will be providing solutions that will improve digital communications, customer analytics and insight, data dissemination and customer interactions and experiences.
