Oceus Networks Inc. announced Oct. 28 that the company has earned the ISO 9001:2008 certification from the International Organization for Standardization.

“Oceus is proud to achieve this industry distinction as it represents our ongoing commitment to both the highest standards of quality and customer care,” Oceus Networks President and CEO Randy Fuerst said. “With ISO 9001:2008 certification, our customers can be assured that Oceus is fully capable of consistently delivering products and services that will meet or exceed their needs and expectations.”

In order to receive ISO 9001:2008 certification, Oceus Networks met numerous requirements including developing, monitoring and reviewing procedures covering all key business processes; checking output for defects and applying appropriate corrective action when necessary; facilitating continual quality system improvements; and maintaining adequate records.

A third-party auditing organization was involved and reviewed Oceus Networks’ internal quality management systems and processes.
