It was announced on October 15th that the Air Force Institute of Technology Graduate School of Engineering & Management (AFIT/EN) awarded MacAulay-Brown (MacB) a prime contract worth $49 million over five years to support the Scientific Test and Analysis Techniques (STAT) in Test and Evaluation (T&E) Center of Excellence (COE) and the Center for Operational Analysis (COA).

The Air Force Institute of Technology Graduate School of Engineering & Management’s mission is to provide advice and assistance to designated acquisition programs in the application of scientific test and analysis techniques, and in the development of test and evaluation strategies. To aid AFIT in achieving its mission MacB will be responsible for providing scientific research & technical services to the COA as well as delivering statistical and T&E subject matter expertise. MacB will also be charged with supporting the development and execution of graduate and continuing education courses, working with ACAT I program managers to create more rigorous T&E and finally securing implementation of STAT best practices for a broader dissemination throughout the acquisition community.

Tim Lawrence, Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Advanced Technology Group at MacB stated, “We are excited to begin work on this important contract supporting the research centers at the Air Force Institute of Technology.
