It was announced on October 1st by Herndon, Va.-based LGS Innovations that it has acquired Dulles, Va.-based Axios, Inc. which provides communications and signal processing solutions and mission support services for the Department of Defense and Intelligence communities.

External acquisitions like Axios, coupled with our continuing internal investment strategy, are essential to the LGS growth strategy and efforts to provide more comprehensive and cutting-edge technologies and solutions to our customers.”
Axios, which was founded in 2000, will continue its operations as a wholly-owned subsidiary of LGS. Houlihan Lokey served as exclusive financial advisor to Axios on this transaction.
