Red Hat, Inc. will host the 2015 Government Symposium on Tuesday, November 10th from 7:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City in Arlington, VA. This event will focus on DevOps, mobility, cloud, containers, and more. It will feature breakout sessions and technical labs with specialized tracks for architects, developers, operations and management.

The keynote address will be delivered by Damon Edwards, principal and co-founder of DTO Solutions. As an innovator of technology Edwards has years of experience working on both the technology and business ends of web operations. There will be government officials from 13 different agencies and more than 650 government and IT business professionals who will be discussing the role of open source software in key government IT challenges.

“The way government IT operates is evolving rapidly, and agencies are consistently balancing the need to meet current industry standards with the desire to use the latest and best technology. This technology is changing the way teams work and the way projects are executed, resulting in increased efficiency and innovation across agencies. We are proud to host the 2015 Red Hat Government Symposium, and offer this inspiring community of developers and leaders an opportunity to come together and collaborate on the challenges they face and solutions they’ve found,” said Paul Smith, vice president and general manager, U.S. Public Sector, Red Hat.
