It was announced on September 10th that Leidos has named Tom Aikens the Deputy Group President of Leidos Health, effective September 1st. Aikens will be charged with marketing, staffing, managing profit and revenue growth and will be reporting directly to Jonathan Scholl, Health and Engineering Group President.
Scholl had this to say of Aikens, “Tom has a proven track record of solid health information technology leadership. His passion for the business, combined with strong operational knowledge and expertise, will help drive the growth and performance of Leidos Health.”
Aikens has held senior level positions at NDC Health and McKesson Provider Technologies. His most recent position has been as Executive Vice President of Operations at Leidos; a company that he has worked for since 2006. He received his bachelor’s degree from Marywood University and master’s degree from Webster University.
