The Women’s Center Gala will be held on October 3, from 6:30 to 11:00 p.m., at the Ritz-Carleton in Tyson’s Corner. The 40th annual event raises funds to support and improve the lives of women, teens and families in our community.
The theme of this year’s black-tie gala is “Reaching forward, giving back”. The gala will honor the decades of service of the organization and its clinical staff and hopes to inspire continued support of TWC’s mission for many years to come.
The fundraising goal for this event is $250,000 which will hopefully be met through corporate sponsorships and generous donations from those in the community. The money raised from this gala will be used to provide counseling, education and other resources to those who otherwise would not be able to afford these services.
The Women’s Center is a critical resource to the community which is viewed as a safety net for those who need help transitioning to a healthier, happier lifestyle.
