It was announced on September 11th by Reston, Va.-based SOS International LLC that Major General Robert Catalanotti has been appointed as the company’s Managing Director of Middle East Initiatives. In this position he will help to build strategic partnerships in the Middle East.

He brings a wealth of leadership and extensive experience working with partners around the globe. His stellar reputation and commitment to our Middle East partners will help ensure our future growth in this important market.”
Major General (Ret). Catalanotti served in the U.S. Army for 34 years before recently retiring. His most recent assignment was Director of Strategic Exercise and Training for the U.S. Central Command in Tampa, FL. In that position his responsibilities included overseeing training and exercises for sixteen Middle East and Central Asia partner nations. He is also highly decorated, receiving the Army Distinguished Service Medal, Defense Superior Service Medal, Bronze Star and Department of State Superior Honor Award.
