It was announced that the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has selected PwC Public Sector as an awardee on the 5-year Agile Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contracting vehicle from 18F Consulting. 18F is a civic consultancy within the broader GSA and works to transform software design and delivery across the federal government.

PwC, a leader in user-centric design and agile software development, was one of only six large businesses and the only Big Four consulting firm awarded this innovative contract. This is the first procurement of its kind in the federal government. The RFP requirements were to deliver a working prototype using open-source technologies and data. PwC delivered their wining prototype if under two weeks.
