    U.S. Navy Awards ManTech $174M Unmanned Maritime Systems Support Contract

    Fairfax, Va.-based ManTech International Corporation announced August 7 it has been awarded a prime contract to support the U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSCPAC) in a variety of areas including; specification and design, fabrication, installation, test & evaluation, along with several others all in support of unmanned maritime systems, both surface and subsurface. This contract has a value up to $174 million and a 3 year term.

    ManTech has been successfully assisting SSCPAC for 9 years in the same area of unmanned maritime systems support (UMSS). With this contract win they will continue to employ the efforts of their subject-matter experts on Navy ships and around the world as required.

    Daniel J. Keefe, president & COO of ManTech’s Mission Solutions & Services Group said, “Providing full-spectrum lifecycle mission-critical support to military personnel in remote locations is essential for UMSS capability. We are pleased to provide innovative solutions to enhance the effectiveness of SSCPACs UMSS efforts.”
