    SAP National Security Services (SAP NS2) to Partner with Virtustream

    SAP National Security Services (SAP NS2), an independent, U.S. based subsidiary of SAP, has announced a strategic partnership with Virtustream. The partnership will allow agencies to streamline the deployment of SAP software solutions,  scale to current SAP HANA capacities, and will adhere to the controls and policies laid out by the FedRAMP process.

    SAP HANA is an in-memory computing platform that allows real-time data processing and analytics. The partnership aid’s SAP NS2 to bring current applications to the cloud with  minimal deployment costs.

    “Through our partnership with Virtustream we have unleashed the capabilities of SAP HANA in the Cloud enabling our Federal customers to innovate in a compliant and secure environment,” said  SAP NS2 Senior Vice President and General Manager for Cloud Operations, Carmen Krueger. “This offering combines our expertise in Cloud, Technology and Security to formulate something unique for our customers.”

    Virtustream has gained FedRAMP P-ATO accreditation, which allows any client agency to grant its own ATO.

    “We are very excited to partner with SAP NS2 to bring SAP HANA infrastructure to the federal market,” said Virtustream, EVP, Federal, Jim Kaufold. “Federal agencies that want to migrate their critical infrastructure to the cloud for its increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness and can now do so, with the highest level security assurance.”
