On July 28th NCI, Inc. announced that it won two task orders worth approximately $6 million in total under the Total Engineering and Information Systems (TEIS) III contract for IT services in support of the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC): Fort Huachuca Engineering Directorate (FHED) and Fort Detrick Engineering Directorate (FDED). The Fort Detrick task order has a 12-month base period while the Fort Huachuca task order has a 13.5 month base period.
NCI will provide the FHED information systems engineering, installation, and training for the XVIIth Airborne Corps Mission Command Facility C4I/IT Visual Information Systems at Fort Bragg. NCI will continue its work with the FDED by offering quality control for various IT and auxiliary support systems, including fiber optic installation and data hardware maintenance at U.S. Army locations worldwide.
“Providing unparalleled communications systems for today’s warfighter is at the heart of the work we perform for USAISEC,” said NCI’s President Brian Clark. “Our support of mission-critical applications such as those in place at the XVIIIth Airborne Corps and our work with next generation VTC architectures for several DoD agencies provide us a keen insight into the needs of the Mission Command Facility in implementing their C4I/IT systems. Our work supporting Fort Detrick, which now spans nearly a decade, will continue to ensure successful performance for all U.S. Army communication equipment and infrastructure installations worldwide.”
The TEIS III multiple-award contract was awarded in March 2011 and is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract.
