Engility Holdings Inc., of Chantilly, Va., announced May 20 that the company has been awarded a $10.5 million contract to provide management, administrative, financial, technical and business transformation support to the U.S. Army’s Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) Product Management Office.

LMP provides the Army with real-time situational awareness and improved decision making capabilities while reducing logistics operational costs.

“Logistics modernization is a cornerstone of the Army’s transformation to an agile expeditionary force and we are extremely proud to be their partner on this program,” Engility’s President and CEO Tony Smeraglinolo said. “We appreciate the Army’s confidence in our previous performance on LMP and look forward to continuing our work with members of the Army team.”

This award, which represents follow-on work to a current contract, is a one-year, time and material contract, with an option for a nine-month extension.
