
Engility Holdings Inc., of Chantilly, Va., announced May 20 that the company has been awarded a $10.5 million contract to provide management, administrative, financial, technical and business transformation support to the U.S. Armyâs Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) Product Management Office.
LMP provides the Army with real-time situational awareness and improved decision making capabilities while reducing logistics operational costs.
âLogistics modernization is a cornerstone of the Armyâs transformation to an agile expeditionary force and we are extremely proud to be their partner on this program,â Engilityâs President and CEO Tony Smeraglinolo said. âWe appreciate the Armyâs confidence in our previous performance on LMP and look forward to continuing our work with members of the Army team.â
This award, which represents follow-on work to a current contract, is a one-year, time and material contract, with an option for a nine-month extension.
