Alexandria, Va.-based Visionary Integration Professionals (VIP), an IT solutions provider, announced April 13 the appointment of Sean DuGuay as Executive Vice President of Business Development.

“Sean has broad industry relationships and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our public sector clients,” VIP CEO Jonna Ward said. “He will bring immediate value to our customers and to VIP. With him at the helm, I am confident we will expand upon our mission of helping business and government agencies align the right strategy, people, process, and technology to improve performance at all operational levels.”

“I’m excited about this new opportunity,” DuGuay said. “I’ve always believed putting clients first is a win-win for everyone, and I know that Jonna and her team share this same philosophy. That commitment to client satisfaction is what initially attracted me to the company.”

In this position, DuGuay will be charged with leading the company’s go-to-market strategy to grow and expand VIP’s civilian, defense, intelligence and state and local government markets. He has previously served at CGI, Ciber and LRN, among others.

DuGuay is a former U.S. Marine of more than 10 years where he trained as a Special Agent, Criminal Investigation Division.
