Salient Federal Solutions hosted an Advanced Analytics Seminar for federal agencies on April 20 at the National Press Club, in Washington, D.C.

Staff from Salient Federal Solutions’ Data Analytics Center of Excellence and Robin Bloor, Chief Researcher of The Bloor Group, discussed proven approaches and technologies essential to advanced analytics success.

“Advanced analytics enable organizations to predict and proactively address current and future risks and challenges,” Salient’s Data Analytics Center of Excellence VP Cynthia Walker said. “Salient is committed to helping federal agencies exploit the full potential of advanced analytics to enhance mission performance. It is vital to reinforce their sense of urgency, while also empowering them with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful.”

In this popular event, dozens of participants learned how to use advanced analytics to predict and mitigate mission risks, such as fraud and security breaches, and to inform decisions and actions resulting in improved services to citizens. They also learned how to make analytics accessible to everyone and simple to integrate with existing systems and decisions processes.
