    SAVE THE DATE: Young AFCEA Bethesda to Host Women in Technology Leadership Panel and Networking Event, March 26, 2015

    The Young AFCEA Bethesda and the George Washington University will host a morning panel and networking session with women in management and technology from 9 a.m. to noon March 26 at The Marvin Center at George Washington University, 800 21st St. NW, in Washington, D.C.

    This event aims to provide young professionals in the first decade of their career with an opportunity to learn from a group of accomplished women leaders. The panel discussion will offer lessons learned among women in the federal technology industry and provide actionable guidance and practical advice to attendees to plan their own careers.

    Confirmed panelists include:

    • Angela Altimont – Director, Northrop Grumman
    • Daphne Zweifel – Executive Vice President, Inserso
    • Jolene Merkel – Deputy Director, Federal Aviation Authority
    • Susie Sylvester – Chief Executive Officer, Dev Technology Group
    • Vicki Schmanske – Vice President, Lockheed Martin
    • Cristina Mossi – Chief Executive Officer, Devis
    • Mika Cross – Director of Work/Life Programs and Flex Work Strategy, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
    • Camille Tuutti – Executive Editor, NextGov
    • Heidi Myers – Branch Director, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement

    This event is for government, industry and student attendees. The cost to attend is $20 for industry members, and $10 for members of the government and GWU students.

    Young AFCEA Bethesda is an organization for D.C. Metro area young professionals who work in or with civilian government agencies in the areas of communications, IT and security. AFCEA is an international non-profit membership association with more than 120 chapters that connects government and industry in the fields of communications, IT, intelligence, and global security. The Bethesda Chapter of AFCEA focuses on U.S. civilian agencies.
