SAVE THE DATE: “The 100 Worst Mistakes in Government Contracting” Seminar, April 14, 2015

The National Contract Management Association (Pentagon Chapter) will host “The 100 Worst Mistakes in Government Contracting” Seminar from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 14, 2015, at the Council for Logistics Research Inc., 1550 Crystal Drive, Suite 500, in Arlington, Va.

The seminar examines 100 classic mistakes to avoid when doing business with the U.S. government. The course draws on every phase of the government contract life cycle. Attendees will learn best practices and guiding principles. Some of the topics that will be covered include:

  • Proposal Preparation and Submission
  • Protests
  • Contract Pricing and Costs
  • Contract Termination
  • Audits
  • Integrity and Investigations
  • Contract Disputes

The speaker will be Dr. John W. Wilkinson, President of tHInc LLC — a Service Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business specializing in leadership and acquisition skills development.

Advance registration by COB April 7 is $225 for NCMA members and $275 for non-members. Prices will then increase to $275 for members and $325 for non-members.
