CENTERPOINT Inc., based in Reston, Va., announced March 17 the election of company CEO Ed Silva to serve on the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia Board of Directors.

“I am a firm believer in the Foundation’s support of worthwhile causes in the Northern Virginia area,” Silva said. “My service on the Board will allow me to lend my experience to this valuable mission.”

The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia is a grant-making and endowment-building organization. Working with donors across the region, the Foundation’s research on key issues and philanthropic investment inspires the Northern Virginia community to become more engaged in supporting the most pressing issues facing neighbors in need.
