The Women’s Center will hold its 29th Annual Leadership Conference, “Reaching Forward…Giving Back,” on April 11, 2015, at the McLean Hilton in Tysons Corner, Va.

The event runs from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and includes networking opportunities, break-out sessions on topics ranging from leadership development to work-life balance, and time to visit exhibitor booths and shop at vendor tables.

“The Annual Women’s Center Leadership Conference, now in its 29th year, draws women (and men) who are interested in furthering their careers, increasing leadership skills, networking and supporting The Center’s mission,” President of the Women’s Center Board Sally Turner said. “We have many repeat attendees, as no one wants to miss the exciting and unique speakers and workshops — and connecting with the 800 attendees – don’t miss it.”

Scheduled keynote speakers and leadership award recipients include Alma Powell, Chair of America’s Promise; Julie Smolyansky, CEO of Lifeway Foods; Katty Kay, lead anchor of “BBC World News America,” and author; and Claire Shipman, journalist for ABC News, and author.

    Individual tickets are $195.
