Ernst & Young is accepting nominations for its Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
EY Entrepreneur Of The Year recognizes the men and women who put everything on the line in order to translate an idea into a viable, sustainable enterprise. Entrepreneurs include both founders of companies and also those who organize, manage and assume the risks of a business and are still active in the company.
The CEO should have passion, vision and the drive to succeed as a compelling leader who embodies entrepreneurial spirit and isn’t afraid to take risks and drive the business forward.
Winners will be revealed at the black-tie Awards Gala in June, which will include a cocktail reception, dinner and awards presentations, and post-gala reception.
Other scheduled events include:
- Announcement of Finalists — Noon, Friday, May 1
- Finalist Reception — 5-9 p.m. Wed., May 13, Congressional Country Club
- Finalist Video Interviews — Thurs., May 14-Friday, May 15
- Awards Gala — 6-9:30 p.m. Thurs., June 18, The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner
