    John Dorman Named Acentia VP, Defense Health Solutions for IT Health

    Falls Church, Va.-based Acentia announced Jan. 29 the appointment of John Dorman as Vice President, Defense Health Solutions for Health IT. Dorman will focus on customer solutions and program delivery, as well as expanding and growing Acentia’s Dept. of Defense Defense Health Agency (DHA) work.

    “John continues to be a highly successful leader in our industry and has been for more than 30 years,” Acentia executive Richard Jacik said. “Bringing his extensive knowledge and experience with the DoD to Acentia, John will play a central role in our continued excellence in program delivery and in developing new areas for growth within the DHA. We are pleased he has joined the Acentia team.”

    Dorman has worked with Lockheed, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Planned Systems International.

    Dorman earned a Master of Science in computer science from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the University of Maryland University College.
