Chantilly, Va.-based Ingenicomm Inc. announced Feb. 3 that it had completed the ISO 9001:2008 certification of its quality management system. The certification covers Ingenicomm’s design, development, manufacturing, system assembly and integration of software and hardware for satellite ground and range equipment.

“ISO 9001 certification is an important milestone for Ingenicomm and demonstrates our unwavering dedication to continuous process improvement and to producing quality products,” Ingenicomm’s President and CEO Amit Puri said. “Since the inception of the company, Ingenicomm has focused on building robust processes to ensure that every system we deliver fully satisfies our customers’ requirements. I am pleased to see that our commitment in this area has now been validated by an independent auditor.”

The ISO 9001:2008 standard specifies requirements for quality management systems that enable a company to consistently provide product that meets customer requirements while enhancing customer satisfaction through effective processes for continual improvement. Certification to the ISO 9001:2008 standard requires an accredited third-party auditing organization to thoroughly review a company’s policies, processes and procedures to ensure the company is committed to continuous improvement with a customer focus.
