Wichita, Kansas-based Spirit AeroSystems Inc. announced Jan. 5 the appointment Krisstie Kondrotis as Senior Vice President, Business Development. Kondrotis will have responsibility for global marketing and expanding business relationships in both commercial and defense.

Kondrotis brings 27 years of experience to the position, having served in top level business development and strategy roles at Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics and most recently, Northrop Grumman. She has been responsible for business development, systems engineering, strategy and acquisition management spanning multiple segments of the aerospace and defense industry, including ballistic missile defense, launch and satellite systems, fighter aircraft, and multiple intelligence and classified programs.
Kondrotis is a Syracuse University National Security Studies fellow and graduate of the Lockheed Martin Program Management Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. She holds an MBA, Operations Management from Regis University and a Bachelor of Science in finance from University of Northern Colorado.
