Reston, Va.-based Vistronix announced Dec. 11 the acquisition of Objective Solutions Inc. (OSI), a Columbia, Md.-based solutions provider for the intelligence community in areas including big data, cyber, collection and advanced Aaalytics.

“Through this acquisition, we have created a unique strategic opportunity by combining OSI’s expertise utilizing cutting-edge technologies in a highly-classified environment with Vistronix’s ability to apply technologies, methods, processes, and proprietary know-how to develop and integrate intelligence systems for front line operations,” Vistronix President and CEO John Hassoun said. “We remain focused on our customers’ missions and on strengthening our offerings to deliver even greater value to the national intelligence community.”

“Teaming up with Vistronix is a great opportunity for OSI to become a full solution provider, while we launch several key IRAD initiatives,” OSI Chief Operating Officer Robert Mulroy said. “Furthermore, it allows us to keep our agile management structure while we continue to focus on providing our employees an expanding base of engineering opportunities in support of mission-critical programs for national security.”

This is one of three acquisitions Vistronix announced Dec. 11; the company also acquired Agency Consulting Group and ExaTech Solutions Inc.
