    Oceus Networks Inc. Appoints Jeff Harman as COO, Kevin Styles as CTO

    Reston, Va.-based Oceus Networks Inc. announced Dec. 17 the appointment of Jeff Harman as Chief Operating Officer and Kevin Stiles as Chief Technology Officer. Stiles is based out of Oceus Networks’ Plano, Texas office.

    “Oceus Networks has undergone significant changes to remain an innovative leader in the industry since our inception, and both Mr. Harman and Mr. Stiles have contributed to the success and the growth of our company,” Oceus Networks CEO Randy Fuerst said. “We are pleased to promote from within, and I am enthusiastic about the value and expertise both men will continue to bring in their new roles and as part of the executive management team.”

    As COO, Harman will oversee execution of the company’s strategic plan and provide operational leadership to enable continued growth and success of the company. As CTO, Stiles will be responsible for the company’s product development, solutions customization and systems integration services.

    Harman joined Oceus Networks in March 2013 as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the DOD Solutions Business Group. He has been responsible for driving growth with direct oversight of program execution, solutions and competency development across both the DoD tactical and enterprise environments.

    Harman has more than 22 years of industry experience in the delivery and management of technology systems, networks and services across the federal government. He previously worked for CACI International as a Senior Vice President Operating Group Manager and has held leadership positions for Teaming Associates, BBN and GSI.

    Harman served in the U.S. Air Force prior to joining GSI and earned a Bachelor of Science in information systems.

    In his new role as CTO, Stiles will lead an engineering team focused on the development of secure and scalable 4th Generation (4G) Long Term Evolution (LTE) products, and the integration and delivery of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products into customized solutions, including product certifications and accreditations.

    Stiles brings more than 24 years of experience in telecommunications and government contracting and has been heavily involved in the areas of Research and Development, Service Delivery and Systems Integration throughout his career. He previously served as Vice President of Engineering at Oceus Networks.

    Before joining Oceus Networks, Stiles served as Vice President of Ericsson Federal. He earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science.
