A-T Solutions Inc. announced Nov. 13 that the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) has awarded the company a contract to update its evidence collection management (ECM) software.

“A-T Solutions is looking forward to making the ECM modifications necessary for the AFOSI to continue their outstanding investigative work,” A-T Solutions president and CEO Dennis Kelly said. “As technology advances, our field reporting experts work to ensure that our customers have access to the most up-to-date product enhancements to support their mission.”

The mobility functions of tablets allows military criminal investigative organizations to photograph crime scenes, record data and create reports in the field. Modifications are needed to existing ECM software to fully incorporate tablets into the evidence collection management process.

The Vienna, Va.-based A-T Solutions will provide the modifications, testing and support for ECM capabilities. This will include updating the interface to support current Dept. of Defense crime scene practices, adding additional reporting functions to support the missions of the AFOSI, and modifying export capabilities to conform to DoD-mandated file formats.
