Salient Federal Solutions Inc. announced Nov. 24 that the company has been awarded a subcontract by EIC for the Global Command and Control System – Joint (GCCS-J) Instructors and Administrators Services contract.

“This contract award represents the continuation of Salient support to train and administer GCCS-J services at worldwide locations,” Salient COO Bill Parker said. “We’re excited to continue to provide vital training services through proven, leading edge instructional design and delivery techniques coupled with proficient instructors, system administrators, and LAN engineers who understand the GCCS-J training environment.”

This contract supports the 81st Contracting Squadron (81 CONS) and the 336th Training Squadron (336 TRS), located at the Keesler Air Force Base, and is valued at $3.5 million firm-fixed-price.

Fairfax, Va.-based Salient will provide instructional system design, development, training planning documentation, classroom Technical Training Equipment (TTE), instruction, system administration of TTE and training LAN engineering support services for GCCS-J. Salient instructors will develop and evaluate the curriculum of GCCS-J courses.
