Rising Stars of GovCon: Meet Jonathan Moneymaker
Jonathan Moneymaker attended the University of Southern California, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
After undergrad, Moneymaker went to work for Anonymizer, where his focus was driving business growth by aligning the company with the intelligence community and ensuring critical program and cross organizational execution. Moneymaker also served in Ocean Systems Engineering Corp SMART division, where he managed a C4ISR and Anti-Terrorism Force Protection portfolio, and participated in the acquisition of the company to Apogen Technologies. Ultimately, he served as vice president and led the company’s merger with Abraxas Corporation.
Moneymaker’s next position was with Boeing, where he served as General Manager of Boeing’s approximately $500 million, 1,000 employee Intelligence Systems Group business unit. His responsibilities were focused on overall leadership, business strategy and growth, program execution, and operational effectiveness of the organization, the company’s seven acquisitions and it’s global footprint. He served as the primary customer interface delivering specialized service, products and solutions to the U.S. intelligence community, Dept. of Defense and international partners.
Currently at McLean, Va.-based Altamira Technologies Corporation as Chief Strategy Officer, Moneymaker is primarily responsible for corporate strategy, corporate development, business development and capture, marketing and communications, and legislative affairs.
He has also graduated from senior executive programs at Kellogg School of Management, Rady School of Management and Harvard University. Moneymaker currently serves as a member of the board of directors for the University of Southern California’s Daniel J. Epstein Industrial and Systems Engineering School.
