At WashingtonExec, we always have our ears to the ground for breaking news and intriguing stories within the government contracting industry. We also know our readers are quite busy, and yet they still need to know what is happening in their industry.

Our Weekly e-Magazine keeps you informed of contract awards, upcoming local events, who’s who in the contracting world, and much more. And, the e-magazine delivers this information quickly so you can get on with your day.

In case you missed this week’s edition, here is what you need to know:

Major changes are taking place at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), as the company is modifying its leadership structure in an effort to trim overhead and make it easier to work with customers and partners.

WashingtonExec interviewed Attain LLC‘s CEO Greg Baroni, who was the recipient of the 2012 “Executive of the Year” in the less than $75 million category of the GovCon Awards. This year Attain is nominated this year for “Contractor of the Year” in the $25 million to $75 million category.

WashingtonExec MARCOM Committee Co-Chairs invited the D.C. region’s top business reporters and editors, who often cover the government contracting space, to speak on the topic of “Can You Hear Me Now? How to Get a Reporter’s Attention in the Always-On News Cycle.”

In our weekly RollCall, JD Kathuria shared his insight on the topics that caught our eyes and ears this past week within our network’s virtual water cooler, including 9 new hires/appointments and 14 October work anniversaries.

We also covered a few major contract wins from Engility, MicroPact and Salient Federal Solutions, and Sevatec.

For these stories and many more, you can read our e-magazine in its entirety here.
