SAP NS2 will host its third annual Solution Summit 2014 on from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 30, at the Fairview Park Marriott, in Falls Church, Va.
The conference, entitled “Decoding the New Era of U.S. Nation Security”, will address current and emerging threats to U.S. national security and homeland security, along with technology solutions for situational awareness, cyber security, counter terrorism, insider threat detection, countering illicit activity, critical infrastructure protection, open source analysis, migration to cloud, cost reduction and audit readiness.
Frances Townsend, former assistant to President George W. Bush for homeland security and counterterrorism and chair of the SAP NS2 Board, will deliver the morning keynote speech.
Other scheduled discussions include “Evolving Threats to U.S. National Security” (8:30-9:15 a.m.), “Technology Solutions that Advance the Mission and Business of National Security” (9:30-10 a.m.), Cyber Security in a Post-Snowden World (10-10:45 a.m.), Secure Cloud and Information Assurance (10:45-11:30 a.m.) and Giving Back to our Veterans (11:45 a.m.-noon).
Notable panelists include Intelligence and National Security Alliance Chairman Ambassador John Negroponte, Former Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence Dr. Stephen Cambone and Former CIO of the Central Intelligence Agency Alan Wade, among others.
Former U.S. Secretary of Defense Dr. Robert Gates will deliver the luncheon keynote speech, followed by a book signing, from noon to 1:30 p.m.
