The Choral Arts Society of Washington will host its 34th Annual Holiday Gala, Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The fundraising event will be donating all proceeds to Choral Arts’ artistic programming and community initiatives.
Last year’s event raised more than $550,000.
Founded in 1996 by Joan Gregoryk, the CCW performs with leading D.C. music organizations, provides musical training to children and touts a host of open access programs which are designed to instruct first-time singers and assist under-resourced D.C. community students.
The 7:00 p.m. holiday concert will be followed by a reception, dinner and dancing on the Roof Terrace Level, as well as the event’s annual silent auction.
The Ambassador of Argentina, Cecilia Nahon, will serve as honorary patron. Janet Kelly Phillips is this year’s gala chair.
